When ? For 2024 we’ll be offering a weekday session twice per week; T/R's 2:10 -3:10 pm: Starting June 11 to Aug. 1 (No match play on July 4th)….. The program will run for 8 weeks . Fridays ( 2:00pm – 3:00pm) will be "make-up day" for any T/R rain-outs… Keep in mind Friday will be the only “make-up day”, so hopefully we won’t get too many cancelled days.. No refunds in the event that we run out of make-ups on Fridays…..
What ? This program will be for those juniors (girls or boys ages 12 - 18) ..To qualify, eligible juniors need, at a minimum, to be capable of serving and returning serve at about a 50% ratio and sustaining a 5 to 8 hit rally from the baseline. They should have some basic knowledge of rules, scoring, and court etiquette. Instructor consent required ….
Format? This is not a league (no scores will be recorded). This is an opportunity to give the Adv. Beg. level junior some feel for the "real world" of match play. There will always be a coach available to arrange sets or matches (or sometimes as a "fill in" to play sets/ matches) and give some tactical advice. Some days you may do singles, some days doubles, some days both, depending on court availability.
Cost ? $150.00 for the T/R week-day session. No pro-rating for classes missed.... (balls will be provided).....
